Greyson 41 weeks 6/2/16

We went and saw both sets of grandparents on Saturday. Also the Barkers and the Allreds were there. You had so much fun with your cousins. You sat on Uncle Levi's lap with Kaysen and he laid his head down on you for cuddles. It was adorable. He also sat down on your lap like you were an adult. Then Hunter got there and you guys actually played really well together. Unfortunately you can't walk yet so you tried to keep up and you couldn't. You will be walking soon though. At Grandma Kerina's house you stood up from sitting. You have also taken a few steps.  Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa P's house. All the Peterson grand-kids were there. Then we just hung out and chatted. Then we went home. Daddy is finally home so we have been hanging out and having so much fun!

Greyson's 1st Memorial Day

Today we slept in. Then we woke up and played in the bed.  Then we had chocolate crepes. Then we walked to the Co-op with Andrea and Angelica. We ate some yummy plant-based food and then daddy had to come get you so that I could have my meeting we went there for. Then we ate some cheesecake with Daddy, Angelica, Adam and Daddy. Then we hung out for the rest of the day.

Greyson's 1st Armed Forces Day 5/22/16

Your daddy was gone to drill. So we celebrated by being alone without him :( That is okay, because we are okay to give our daddy up for the country.

Greyson 40 weeks 5/26/16

This week you are really starting to figure out standing.  You only us one hand when we help you walk. You still go out the stupid doggy door. It is driving me crazy. We are having so much fun, you are figuring out the silly things you like. You like to bite my nose, and have me shout "no, help!" You also like to yell in to your hand and pull it back and forth. I love watching you change and grow.

Greyson 9 months

You spent your whole 8 months without your daddy and now he is back, so I think 9 months will be much easier. You are 25 inches long and you weigh about 21 pounds. You are very analytical and you try do something every way you can imagine, and you don't stop until you figure it out. You are a very determined little boy! You learned to clap. You learned how to go out the doggy door, which has resulted you in taking a tumble down the concrete stairs. You have started taking interest in toys. You will actually (finally) sit and play with a toy for more than 5 seconds. The other day you played with your "tablet" for 25 minuted. I was in shock. You love eating "adult" food. You don't really care for pureed food. I gave you cashew ice cream the other day. You ate a good amount, and loved it. Then you told me when you were done by turning your head. You LOVE water, you drink so much. You also like to steal my water bottles out of my hands. You haven't quite figured out how to sleep through the night. You love to explore everything new that comes in your area, but you also know what you want, and you are determined to get to it. You love eating dog food, I would say it is your all-time favorite food. It keeps you regular so who am I to complain (oh wait I complain and tell you to stop like 100 times a day). You are growing up, and I love and hate it. You want to walk so badly, you can stand on your own for a few seconds at a time. One time you tried to follow me walking, and you just stood there crying trying to take the first step, but you couldn't manage it so I eventually had to come and pick you up.  You are my world little one! I do not know what I would do without you.

Greyson 39 weeks 5/19/16

You ate a breakfast that I just found things lying around the kitchen. Just some bananas and bread.  You drank like 3 oz of water.  Your daddy came home from training in Yakima, Washington and you were pretty excited to see him. You also decided to throw yourself down our 2-set concrete stairs. I cried for about 30 minutes and you cried for about 1. That was one of the hardest things that happened. Your beautiful face is so dinged up, and you rubbed off some of your precious, already super fine, not there, hair. I also accidentally ripped some off with the band-aid. It broke my heart you stinker bot.

Greyson 38 weeks 5/12/16

We went to Burley for you to do a photo shoot. You dressed up like: Clark Kent, Superman, Dean Winchester. Sam Winchester, and Castiel. You were pretty freaking adorable, and you even let us put wigs on you.  Andrea and I took you to your first farmers market. You liked it so much that you fought going to sleep the whole time. Then you finally just feel asleep sitting up, and hunched over slightly. (I thought I got a picture but I can't find it.)  You figured out the doggy door this week, and it is ruining my life. You just do not play safe, and I worry you will get hurt. You also cannot figure out how to get back in. One morning you escaped off my bed (slid down onto the waiting pillows, I'm telling you, you are to smart for your own good). Then while I was still sleeping you went outside. I woke up to panicked crying, and banging on the back door. Your little hands were so cold. You seriously are a stinker.  We might have to get rid of the doggy door.

Mother's Day 5/8/16

This was my first actual Mother's Day. Daddy wasn't here so he sent me some flowers. The card was from you so thank you so much for the flowers. You and him gave me a necklace, and it is adorable. The year is wrong, but daddy is going to order me a new piece. We went to church, and we had to leave about 30 minutes early because you were losing it. Then we had lunch with Andrea and her family. Yummy vegan pizza, We fed you the crust, and you were so happy! Then you crashed in your high chair, and I was able to put you in your crib and you gave me the present of a long nap. Then Andrea came over for black bean soup. We ate chocolate cake a day early, because we couldn't wait. It was a good day.

Greyson 37 weeks 5/5/16

I bought you ball pit balls and you are afraid of them and like them at the same time. Aunt Alyse came to visit and we had a great time. I actually ate my first plant based meal , and I am liking how I feel eating it so we will see how it goes. We went on a few morning walks with Andrea. Then We went out on a day walk with Angelica, Adam, and Andrea. We saw rick chucks and their babies. Also we saw little goslings, and they were so adorable. 

1st Cinco De Mayo 5/5/16

So it was just the two of us. We just hung out all day. We did make some guacamole, because it is delicious and I was craving it. Maybe next year we will make it more exciting, you are still pretty small.
