Greyson 1 year

 For your birthday we went to Grandma Wendy's house and had your party there. The Sam Peterson family was there, the Allreds, The Hutchinsons, both set of grandparents, and the Ludwigs came too. We had a superhero theme. We made all the kids capes and arm cuffs. We also played pin the bat symbol on Batman. We had some yummy cake. Your dad went to get pizza and a Mylar balloon filled before the party, but the dollar store wouldn't fill it up so you didn't get your balloon. :( We had tons of fruits and veggies. We all had a good time. In the other room, we got out grandma's pool and put the ball pit balls in it, and all the kids had fun in it. You were pretty cute opening your presents. You would get really excited, then I would show you a new one and you would get excited. You loved the cake. At your cake smash photo shoot you had no interest in the cake. I pretty much had to force you to eat it. But you must prefer yellow cake, because you scarfed that down. It was a fun party and I am so glad that I get to be your mom!

Greyson 52 weeks 8/18/16

So we are really just planning our trip to Maryland and also planning your birthday party. You are growing so fast. You still love going outside, through the doggy door. You show me that you are hungry by grabbing a handful of dog food. You still don't enjoy eating food. You still are drinking formula and only eating very rarely. You still like to babble and are not saying many words. I am super worried to fly with you. I feel so super worried every time I think about it, I go into full panic mode. Lucky your party is keeping me distracted.

Greyson 51 weeks 8/11/16

I cannot believe that you are almost one it is so crazy to think that it was almost a year ago that our life changed when you were born! We are getting ready to go to Maryland we are going the day after your birthday. You are starting to walk so much better. You are starting to throw pretty funny tantrums. You throw your body to the ground and it is adorable. Or you put your head down and cry.  The olympics started on the 5th so we watch them regularly they take up a lot of our nights. You will sometimes watch with us, but you really wish we wouldn't watch it. We went to Chipotle and discovered you LOVE guacamlole. You won't eat avocados plain they have to be made up into guacamole. 

Greyson 50 weeks 8/4/16

I kind of fell of the wagon writing these posts. Today I went to a seminar on photography in Twin Falls. So you spent the morning with Grandpa Nolan. Then when we arrived back in Pocatello we went to Pack Meeting. We have been going to book babies and family story time. You have really started to enjoy going to these. You have loved it before , but you have really started to love and interact. You are a little flirt and it is so adorable. You are sleeping better in your crib, we will see if you keep that up. We finally bought your bike trailer. I go biking once a day and you like it and hate it. You cannot really decide. You started following your daddy around like a tail it is adorable.

Greyson's 49 weeks 7/28/16

You poor little thing. You are teething so hard it is making you so miserable. You bit down on a bit of white foam and it was all bloody. So sad. You starting waving hello and goodbye on Wednesday!  It is cute because sometimes you use to hands and you are so bubbly and expressive when you do it! Now you almost have all 4 incisors. The front on is in along with the 2 sides, the other front tooth is not far behind. we finally got your baby bike trailer set-up. In 2 days we have been on 4 rides and you tolerate them. The first time you crashed, but you are starting to get more vocal and towards the end you are ready to be done.

Greyson's 48 week 7/21/16

This weekend you were babysat by Grandma and Grandpa P. Daddy and I went camping in Island Park. We had a great time, but we missed you. You had such a good time with them, they said you were a perfect angel. We are lucky though because you are taking Mirilax now so you are such a happy baby. On Wednesday Nikelle babysat you so that I could go to book club. She said you were such an awesome baby and didn't even cry once.

Greyson's 11 month 7/20/16

I cannot believe I have know you for 11 months. I am so in love with you little man. You are so handsome. You now have 2 teeth and you sometimes kind of vicious with them. You are walking with very, very little crawling. You run and it is adorable. Today you said a new word. You now say Ender and it is freaking adorable (but Ender is getting mad that I keep saying his name over and over in an attempt to get you to say it again) You still weigh 21 pounds. You are getting really tall, and you are in 12 months clothing. You have a fiery and busy personality. You love talking to strangers. When you see something that fascinates you, you go into a trance and it takes a while to bust you out of it. You are the cutest when you see someone you recognize. You make an adorable intake of air and start rocking back and forth. You are so friendly. You still love being outside and going through the back door. Now instead of using the doggy door, you throw open the back door. I have taken to locking it. I locked it once when you were outside and you lost it. I had to show you the doggy door, and then you remembered oh yeah I can use that. You are really starting to love food, with rice and oranges being your favorite (except nothing compares to dog food). You are growing to fast, but I really love the person you are growing into.
