Christmas

We had 2 Christmas's this year. We had our own Christmas morning on Christmas Eve in
Poky with just the 3 of us. We had a great time of it. The day before you had croup. We went and got you steroids and you we pretty mush fine the next day. It was scary and we thought it would be really bad. It went away so fast we were happy. Then on Christmas Eve we went to Grandma Wendy's house for our traditional Christmas Eve, and then we slept at Grandma Kerina's house. We spent Christmas morning with them, and then went to Grandma Wendy's house to open presents. We had a good time, and you sure loved opening presents! You are in love with all the presents you have.

Greyson 19 weeks 12/31

You have recently decided to move your head back and forth quickly. You do it when you are trying not to wake up, or when you are angry. You also do it when I do it to you and you do it back jokingly. You said a vowel sound once, and I hope it would stick, but I think it was an accident. On Tuesday you received your 4 month shots. That part of being a mom is hard. You do so well after shots though, you don't really get sick from them. you are 25 inches long which puts you in the 32 percentile, You are 16# putting you in the 54 percentile. Your head is 41 inches which puts you in the 22 percentile.

Greyson 18 weeks (12/24/15)

Sunday the 20th of December you rolled over from your front to back, and once again I missed it. I was doing my calling , and you rolled over for dad and his Sunday school class. We tried to get you to rollover all day, and you refused! Finally on Monday we got you to do it! We had to go to the doctor on Wednesday, because you were breathing funny. They said you had croup, and then they gave you a steroid and you were better the next day. You love engaging people. When I lay you down you get in the motion of crawling, you might be there soon.  You love blowing bubbles.

Greyson 4 months (12/20/15)

Well we have a 4 month old now. You have officially discovered his hands and feet. You love laying on your back and buzzing your lips. Today, I didn't get to see you roll over from your back to your front. Today your cousin Samara was born. So Hunter is exactly 4 months older than you and Samara is exactly 4 months younger than you. So cool to have so many cousins your same age.  You weigh 15.8 pounds and are still a little over 24 inches.

Greyson 17 weeks 12/17/15

Well big guy, this week I spent my first night away from you. It was not by choice, we got snowed in in Tremonton. I was okay, I called Grandma Wendy and told her she was going to have to watch you, and then all the sudden I started to bawl. I couldn't stop crying, I was not happy being away from you. Then the next morning we went to Burley and I have never been so happy to see someone. On Friday December 11th you rolled over from your stomach to your back, Unfortunately, I was not expecting you to do anything so I missed it, because I was doing dishes. I was so sad!!

Greyson 16 weeks 12/10/13

You decided you like to fake cough at me. You fake cough and then I do it back and you think it is hilarious. You also blew a raspberry today, it was the best thing! You are still 15.4 pounds which is surprising since you had been gaining weight so fast. You grew a little you are now 24 and 3/4 inches long.

Utah Trip

We went to our annual BYU basketball game. We had a blast. I need to get pictures off of my iPhone for this.

Greyson 15 weeks (12/3/15)

You are starting to use your jumper. You can't use the jump part yet, but you can spin the chair and play with all the toys. You love watching your bottle maker making your bottles. You are very engaged in faces and toys. You love meeting new people and get very excited when they talk to you. when you are excited your eyes get really wide and you throw your hands around, it is the most adorable thing I have ever seen. You also can put yourself to sleep most of the time, which is amazing with how much  I spoil you when it comes to sleeping.
You weigh 15.4 pounds and are 24 and 1/2 inches long.

Thanksgiving

Yeah! Your first Thanksgiving. Lucky for Mom and Dad you slept through dinner so we enjoyed our meal warm :) We ended up leaving Pocatello on Tuesday night, because there as going to be a huge storm Wednesday morning. The weather man was right, Wed. it start snowing at 5 am. We brought the dogs to Burley with us. We were worried about the snow, and a few dogs had gone missing in the area the day before. They did good, but there were 7 dogs at Grandma's  house so it was a little overwhelming. Jacey and Levi weren't there for Thanksgiving, but everyone else was. The food was amazing, and we all had so much fun!  We went and saw Grandma Wendy on Thursday night. The car was stuck in the snow before we went to her house, luckily Uncle Biff helped us get the car unstuck. We almost didn't make it.  

While we were at Grandma's you slept through the night!! It was amazing we were so proud of you for getting to this amazing milestone. 

Greyson 14 weeks 11/26/15

 You are the sweetest little thing in the whole world. Whenever I sing a specific song to you, you get so excited and start searching for my eyes. Once you make conatact you start grinning like a fool. I love it. You fall more in love with me everyday and you cannot get enough of me. (same goes for me.) You love to grab my hair and pull. ouch! But I let you do it, because  you like too. You also love when my hair tickles you. You also love having your face blown in, you think it is hilarious. You weigh 15 pounds and are 26 inches long.

Greyson 3 months

Well nothing has really changed since yesterday, but we did set-up your crib. You weigh 15 pounds  and you are 26 and 1/4th inches long 

Greyson 13 weeks (11/19/15)

You have grown so much this week. You have started to smile so big and start to giggle when sing. We talked to Dad on Facetime while he was at drill. You loved it, you talked and smiled at him. It was awesome until I dropped the phone on your face. It was terrible. You love to blow with your spit, you do it all the time.  When you sit in your bouncer you try to sit all the way up.

The guest of honor sleeping through his party. Hunter was sleeping in your bed so we put you in our room and you slept in the bouncer. It was so adorable having you both sleep in the same room. Cannot wait for the 3 of you to be best friends.

Greyson week 12 (11/12/15)

I think you did it just so I would have something amazing to blog about this week, but this morning you started to reach for toys! I set you down in your bouncer and you di your half sitting up thing, but then I heard the toys move. I looked back and you had reached for it and hit it! Now as I type this you are grabbing it, and having a blast! I love it! We discovered you hate cold bottles, and rage eat when we try to feed them to you. This weekend grandma babysat you while we went to Miracle Hot Springs. You had a pretty terrible few days sleeping so you were pretty grumpy for her, but she did not care she is so in love with you. Then she watched you again the next day so we could go enjoy dinner. You weigh 14 pounds exactly. You are 25 1/2 inches long! you love to blow bubbles with your spit. When I say uh-oh 2 or 3 times you know I am going to kiss you, so you gear up, adorable!

Greyson 11 weeks (11/5/15)

Well little man, you have certainly changed a bunch this week! You had your blessing on Sunday and we had a bunch of people come to our little tiny house. You had your 2 month check-up this week. You are 23 1/2 inches, the 46th percentile. You weigh 13.2 pounds in the 49th percentile. Your head circumference is 38 1/2 inches in the 14th percentile. You are average with a small head :)
You are now doing amazing at tummy time. The doctor put you on your tummy, and you lifted up all the way to below your pectorals. Amazing! Then we had to give your immunizations. It was sad, you screamed really loud. We got home and you were sleeping then you woke up inconsolable. Finally, we gave you a dose of Tylenol and swaddled you. You finally were okay. You are very interested in toys now. You can stare at them for a really long time. You have started to not sleep for the whole day. You like your play mat, and your bouncer. I love to watch you so engaged in your toys. You are very in love with us, you love to watch us and giggle! We love you sweet boy.

Greyson 10 weeks (10/29/15)

We measured and weighed you and you are now 13.6 pounds and 23  1/4 inches.
We have been spending the week getting ready for your blessing. You had some pretty bad tummy troubles this week, but now you are doing better. You are starting to become really engaged when we look at you, and you become more talkative everyday. You still sleep most of the day and are still drinking 4 ounces.
