Greyson 16 months

You are getting to be such a big boy. You now have 9 teeth with 1 more coming in. I love your smile sp I am so sad that you eventually will have all your teeth. You are in about the 60th percentile for weight and around 55th percentile for height. This time we had to get your shots without daddy and it was no fun. You were very upset, and so was I. You have been so sick lately, which is so unlike you. It has been pretty miserable. You have had a runny nose for what seems like forever and you were coughing a whole bunch too. I was having a hard time as well. The cyst in my neck burst so I had to be on anti-biotics before they would remove it. Then after they removed it I had a bad reaction and had to go on a special ointment. I was really super sick with the flu, and then a cold. My throat was hurting when we were in Burley and I realized I had gotten thrush from the anti-biotics. It was a fun adventure. I thought my head was going to burst. You are trouble enough, but then add 2 more kids in the mix and a woman can only take so much. You adore them by the way. You follow them around like a lost puppy. It took them a while to acclimate to you, a few incidents, nut now they love you and love helping you. They even helped you up the play place at Carl's Jr. and mommy ran up the slide like a crazy person to find you. I also had to climb through a whole bunch of mesh ropes. You were content and he was so proud that he helped you, I couldn't be mad, but I was still a little shaken. You get so excited when you see them. The transition has been gradual, but it has been hard on you none the less. You are much more clingy, and you throw a fit if I don't pay attention to you right away. For the past 2 weeks, my name has officially been changed to daddy. I don;t know what made you make the change, but if you are upset you scream DADDY until you find me. I left you for a bit to be watched by Aunt Alyse and you called her mommy, so I don;t know why you are so confused. Sometimes even real "daddy" isn't enough and you have to go searching for me. You really hate going to G-ma Wendy's house, because that is where you most often get babysat, so you are extremely clingy when we are there. on New Year's Eve, we had a party we were going to so we left you with my sisters. I snuck out the door while you were eating. A few minutes later you started looking around and noticed i was gone. You started wandering the house. You went to the room we sleep in when we are there. Then you went to the door we use, and just sat and cried for me at the door. Then they picked you up and you went back and cried. Then G-pa swooped you up and gave you food and then you were perfectly content. When you are hungry you tell me by finding the fruit snack box and bring it to me. I then have like 5 minutes to find you food before you start asking for 100 bags of fruit snacks. I am not the best when it comes to set meal times, but I am working on it. You now LOVE the bath tub. For Christmas you got new tub toys and you are obsessed. They are a xylophone, drums, and pipes. You go in the tub, fully clothed, and sit and play with the toys. You would probably take 3 baths a day if I let you. You seriously are getting sooo tall. You reach things and it  completely blows my mind. Today, you tried to climb into your crib( so you could jump not sleep unfortunately). I think I might have to switch you to a toddler bed, but I don;t think I could make you stay in it. You want to grow up way to fast and I am sick of it ;) . You know what a cow says. If you see one you do a demon mom. I tried to make the real mooing noise when I taught you, and it resulted in the demon noise, but I am not sad I like it. You also know what a pig says, you make the sound when you see a picture. No matter how sad you are you will give someone a fivr and bump it. You were TERRIFIED of Santa and the Grinch. We were pretty far away nad you saw them and instantly had a melt down. You still gave them bumps and a 5 the whole time you were wailing. For about a day (wish it would of lasted longer) no matter what you were doing if I said "love you" you would instantly turn around and kiss me. You would even take your binky out, which is no small thing for you! When you would wake up you use to kiss us like 1st thing, but that has stopped. Your new favorite thing is to pretty much make-out with me and bite my lips. It is very unnerving and I cannot wait for you to stop. It also is pretty painful. We went bowling with Brae for her birthday and you loved it! You liked bowling after a few tries, and you especially loved when cosmic bowling came on. You went crazy dancing, you were also wearing bowling shoes. That is the first time you threw a tantrum when leaving anywhere. You were pretty snazy in your shoes. You love going. When I say the word go you are gearing up. You stand at the door and cry until we leave. I love that you are so adventures. I am so lucky to have you!

Greyson 15 months

You used to be so specific when it came to binkies. You would only take one specific kind. Then one day you decided as long as it is a binky I could care less about the brand. Today 11-18-16 I watched you running around the house with a binky in, and you ran over to the window seal. You saw another binky so you pulled the one you had out of your mouth and switched them. I love when you do things like that. It makes me so happy to see you have such a curious mind. I covered fro nursery in our new ward last week, and you loved it. You got a little snippy when it came to snacks, and I didn't give you the exact ones you wanted. I thought, he loves it down here, it is such a bummer that he has to wait 3 months to get down here. Then after church, they called Dad and I to be in the nursery. So we are really excited about it. We have big things coming up in this little family and it is going to be amazing! It will change pretty much everything and I hope it doesn't change anything about our relationship. You are a sweet boy. When you wake up you instantly kiss us, and then give a big hug. The other day it was so adorable, you pulled out your binky, kissed your dad, and then put your binky back in.

Greyson 14 months

Greyson 13 months

You discovered how to blow raspberries and you love to do it on my face. It is very slobbery and adorable! This month we went to Utah for a family to Olympic park with mommies family. We went to Park City and stayed in this really fancy house. When your Grandma, Alyse, the Wilsteads, you, and I were shopping for food for the weekend, we went to Costco and to Wal-mart. When we were leaving Wal-mart it started to rain HARD. We were just driving nice and slow and I looked behind me and saw a tornado. I just yelled to Aunt Alyse DRIVE. She went pretty fast! Then we had to pull over, because the hail and the storm was so bad. Aryelle called us and said that she watched an entire bush be pulled out of the ground in front of her. After we found out that a lot of homes had been destroyed, so we were lucky that nothing happened to us! We also went to Olympic Park where they train for the Winter Olympics. We also went and shopped at the Outlet malls, while Grandma and Grandpa watched ALL 10 grand-babies. They said I don't think we are going to do that again. We also took family pictures and they ended up really cute! You are really getting good at throwing tantrums. Then October we had a family reunion with the Blauer family. We went to upside down tumbling for an hour. You loved it there! The trampolines were your favorite part. You would barely even share with anyone. Then we went to the straw maze. There was a corn kernel pit that you and I had so much fun in. Then there was this big bouncy mt that we had trouble getting you off of. We went in the straw maze and got royally lost. Even the 3 of us got SUPER lost and couldn't find the family. Finally we got back together and had a guy help us out, but half of us got left behind. Then once the guy came back he finally led us out. Then when were going to get some pumpkins. We all loaded up on to the tractor pull, then the tractor crapped out. So we just went and ate at Shon Hings. It was a pretty fun reunion.

Maryland

This was quite the exciting trip for both of us. You had just turned one and had a big party with friends, and family. The next day we went to the airport and flew out to Maryland.

Greyson 1 year

 For your birthday we went to Grandma Wendy's house and had your party there. The Sam Peterson family was there, the Allreds, The Hutchinsons, both set of grandparents, and the Ludwigs came too. We had a superhero theme. We made all the kids capes and arm cuffs. We also played pin the bat symbol on Batman. We had some yummy cake. Your dad went to get pizza and a Mylar balloon filled before the party, but the dollar store wouldn't fill it up so you didn't get your balloon. :( We had tons of fruits and veggies. We all had a good time. In the other room, we got out grandma's pool and put the ball pit balls in it, and all the kids had fun in it. You were pretty cute opening your presents. You would get really excited, then I would show you a new one and you would get excited. You loved the cake. At your cake smash photo shoot you had no interest in the cake. I pretty much had to force you to eat it. But you must prefer yellow cake, because you scarfed that down. It was a fun party and I am so glad that I get to be your mom!

Greyson 52 weeks 8/18/16

So we are really just planning our trip to Maryland and also planning your birthday party. You are growing so fast. You still love going outside, through the doggy door. You show me that you are hungry by grabbing a handful of dog food. You still don't enjoy eating food. You still are drinking formula and only eating very rarely. You still like to babble and are not saying many words. I am super worried to fly with you. I feel so super worried every time I think about it, I go into full panic mode. Lucky your party is keeping me distracted.
